The unfinished portion of the basement had no radon mitigation system in place. The space included existing equipment and limited room for pipe routing.
After
A radon mitigation pipe was installed in the unfinished basement, carefully routed through the space to work around existing equipment. This is part of a two-pipe system, with one pipe positioned near the basement door and another tucked behind the chimney to provide full coverage.
Three-Pipe Radon Mitigation System Installed with Crawl Space and Shed Venting in New Canaan
Before
The home had a radon level of 4.0 pCi/L with a crawl space and slab configuration, and no mitigation system in place.
After
A three-pipe radon mitigation system was installed, with coverage across the closet, slab, and crawl space. The system was routed through a shed for fan placement and vented through the shed roof.
