Revamping Radon Safety in Shrub Oak: Before and After

View the transformative updates in our radon mitigation project for a 1948 ranch home in Shrub Oak. Starting with a system that was improperly installed and utilized a bathroom vent fan, we upgraded to a professional radon fan and installed a new PVC pipe through the roof, replacing an old dryer vent line. The after photos showcase a correctly configured radon mitigation system that significantly improves the air quality and safety of the home.

Radon Transformation in Mamaroneck: Before and After

Explore the before and after effects of our radon mitigation efforts in a 1917 Mamaroneck home. Initially faced with a radon level of 7.5, we strategically placed three pipes to optimize radon reduction across the multiple foundation areas, including two crawl spaces. The after photos illustrate the system’s discreet yet effective integration, showing a significant improvement in air quality and ensuring a safer living environment.

Transforming Safety Standards: Riverside Radon Mitigation

Explore the transformative before and after scenarios of our radon mitigation project in a recently built Riverside home. Without existing radon mitigation components like a passive system or sump pump, and with an all-finished basement, our task was to install a system that cuts through bedroom drywall and ceiling. The photos show how the system seamlessly blends with the home’s exterior, ensuring safety without compromising aesthetics.

Before & After: Proactive Safety in South Salem

Before:
New homeowners with young children moving into a 1971 home, eager to take precautions despite the radon reading being only 1.5. No radon system was present, and the space was untouched since move-in.

After:
A clean, discreet one-pipe radon mitigation system was installed. We utilized an outlet two feet behind the install site by cutting through drywall and pulling wiring internally — keeping wires hidden and the install tidy.

Enhancing Indoor Air Quality in a Large Stamford Home

Before: The initial assessment of this 2005 colonial home revealed an alarming radon level of 8.6 pCi/L, with two unidentified pipes in the foundation. After: With the successful installation of a dual-pipe radon mitigation system utilizing the existing infrastructure, radon levels have been reduced significantly. The system's strategic placement in the utility room optimizes functionality without disrupting the home's aesthetics, ensuring a safe and healthy living environment.
