Initially planned as a two-pipe system with crawl space encapsulation, we adjusted the design to accommodate a simplified one-pipe solution, placed near the oil tank. The before and after photos show how we maintained system effectiveness while respecting the homeowner’s budget and concerns—still protecting against the home’s 9.0 pCi/L radon level.
Before & After: Preparing for a Safe Home Sale in Seymour
Before:
No existing radon system was present. With no sump pump or crawlspace, this home was vulnerable to radon infiltration, especially with the pending home sale in August.
After:
We installed a two-point extraction system, carefully routing the piping from the living area through to a back room with a large rock, then out through the side of the house. The result is a discreet and future-proof installation ready for a safer, healthier home transition.
