Three-Pipe Radon Mitigation System Installed in Westport Home with Crawl Space and Wine Cellar Coverage
Before
The home had radon readings between 3.8 and 4.3 pCi/L with multiple foundation sections, including a crawl space and wine cellar room, requiring broader system coverage.
After
A three-pipe radon mitigation system was installed to address the main foundation, crawl space, and wine cellar area, improving airflow and overall radon reduction throughout the home.
Enhancing Radon Safety in Easton: Before and After System Upgrade
Explore the transformative effect of our radon mitigation system upgrade in an Easton home. Initially equipped with an outdated fan and a closed extraction point, we installed a new, efficient fan and provided additional radon test kits for comprehensive monitoring. The after photos illustrate the upgraded system and the preparedness for further testing, particularly in the newly considered in-law suite’s crawl space, ensuring all areas of the home are safe and monitored.
Moisture Control Upgrade: From Hidden Issues to Full Visibility
Before:
Moisture damage and mold had formed in the Easton basement and garage. The existing sump pump had failed at one point and was sealed under an opaque cover. The radon pipe was not integrated into the sump area, and the basement lacked proper dehumidification.
After:
We proposed a full upgrade:
✔️ Sedona dehumidifier for both basement & garage
✔️ Clear sump pump cover for visibility
✔️ New 3/4 HP sump pump (or service of existing if functional)
✔️ String attachment to manually test pump
✔️ UVC light and filter upgrade
