Before and After Radon Reduction in Waterbury

Discover the transformative effect of radon mitigation in a 1975 raised ranch home in Waterbury through our before and after visuals. Initially dealing with a radon level of 7.7, our project involved implementing a radon mitigation system designed to meet the specific challenges of the home, including the lack of a moisture guard. The after photos illustrate the new system in operation, effectively lowering radon levels and ensuring a safer living environment.

A Breath of Fresh Air: Radon System Transformation in Waterbury

Before our system was installed, the home had no radon protection — a risk for any homeowner. With strategic placement near the oil tank and at the front of the house, the new mitigation system now keeps this home’s air safe and clean. See the side-by-side difference and how we maintained the home’s style while improving its safety.

Enhancing Indoor Air Quality in Milford: Before and After Radon Mitigation

See the before and after impact of our radon mitigation project in a Milford ranch home. Initially faced with a radon level of 6.3, we implemented a strategic one-pipe system in the only accessible 11x15 area of the basement. The after photos demonstrate the discreet yet effective placement of the system, seamlessly integrating with the home’s existing water guard and ensuring a safer living environment.

Radon Safety Transformation in West Haven Daycare

View the transformative impact of our radon mitigation efforts in a West Haven property soon to be a daycare center. With an initial radon level of 3.9, our team implemented a radon mitigation system designed to effectively reduce radon levels and ensure the health and safety of the children. The after photos showcase the system's discreet and efficient integration into the daycare’s structure, providing peace of mind to parents and staff."

Full-Scale Multi-Point Mitigation in Complex A-Frame Basement

With an elevated radon level of 21 pCi/L, the system requires a 5-pipe configuration across the three foundation zones.

Each pipe will be installed and sealed at precise suction points to ensure full coverage. The pipes will converge and exit through the gym area on the right side of the home.

The layout is as follows:

  • Two pipes in the main foundation (standard slab section)

  • One pipe in the gym area, with exterior venting on the right side

  • One pipe drilled through the wine room's foundation wall

  • One pipe near the well tank, extending down for deep sub-slab access

The system fan and exterior venting will be sized appropriately for such a large system, ensuring pressure balance across all zones. After photos will confirm sealed suction points, neat pipe routing, and code-compliant exit setup.
