Tailored Radon Reduction in Norwalk Home with Complex Architecture

Before: The home in Norwalk faced significant radon exposure, with a measurement of 5.5 pCi/L. The presence of two different types of crawl spaces added complexity to designing an effective mitigation system. After: The installation of a meticulously designed three-pipe radon mitigation system has significantly lowered radon levels within the home. Each pipe was strategically placed to optimize radon evacuation from the varied foundation types, with external piping routed to minimize visual impact. This setup not only ensures safety but also integrates seamlessly with the home's structure.

Radon Reduction in Norwalk: Before and After Installation

View the significant impact of our radon mitigation efforts in a Norwalk cape-style home. Starting with a radon level of 5, our team implemented a dual-pipe system that addresses the unique structural challenges of the property. The after photos showcase the pipes' discreet exit points and the seamless integration within both the finished living space and the external area of the home, ensuring a safe and visually appealing environment.

Before & After: Navigating Norwalk's Crawl Space

Before:
The home had no mitigation system in place. The dirt crawl space posed challenges for routing and airflow. No sump cover or encapsulation had been completed yet.

After:
We installed a two-pipe cement foundation system through the dirt crawl space, using the available drywall access points. Final cosmetic touches (boxing out the pipe) will be done by the client, making it a smart and budget-conscious solution that prioritizes safety and flexibility.

Before and After: Radon Mitigation Success in Norwalk Duplex

Discover the significant impact of our radon mitigation project in a Norwalk duplex through our before and after visuals. This dual-unit building required intricate system enhancements, including the addition of a third pipe in unit 67A, sealing the sump pump, and updating the radon fan in unit 67B’s attic. Post-intervention images show the effective reduction of radon levels and the meticulous care taken to integrate the system seamlessly within each unit’s structure.

Before & After: Brookfield System Upgrade

Before:

Fan recently replaced, but the home was operating with only three extraction points. Potential gaps in coverage remained in critical corners of the basement.

After:
A more comprehensive solution was completed by clearing all existing lines and adding two new suction points, optimizing airflow and ensuring robust radon reduction throughout the space.
