Adapting Radon Mitigation in Stratford: Before & After One-Pipe Install

This Stratford project demonstrates how radon mitigation can be tailored to homeowner preferences. Initially planned as a two-pipe system with crawl space encapsulation, we adjusted the design to accommodate a simplified one-pipe solution, placed near the oil tank. The before and after photos show how we maintained system effectiveness while respecting the homeowner’s budget and concerns—still protecting against the home’s 9.0 pCi/L radon level.

One-Pipe Radon Mitigation System Planned for Stratford Condo Prior to Closing

Before

The condo tested at approximately 4.9 pCi/L with no active radon mitigation system installed and exterior routing constraints due to HOA requirements.

After (Planned Work)

A one-pipe radon mitigation system is planned with vent routing directed toward the rear of the building, followed by CRM testing to verify performance.

Before and After: Enhancing Radon Safety in Seymour Home

View the significant impact of our radon mitigation efforts in a Seymour raised ranch. Starting with a radon level of 5.3, our project included the installation of a one-pipe system with the fan discreetly hidden behind landscaping. The after photos showcase the effective and inconspicuous setup, providing a safe and visually appealing solution that seamlessly blends with the home's exterior environment.

High-Radon Hazard Resolved in Seymour: Before & After System Installation

Explore the dramatic improvement in radon safety in this Seymour home, where the new owner inherited a property with a radon level of 14. Our before and after photos show how we turned a high-risk environment into a protected space by installing a multi-foundation, four-pipe system. The system’s final exterior run, located near the oil tanks, blends neatly into the layout while drastically improving indoor air quality.

Before & After: Preparing for a Safe Home Sale in Seymour

Before:

No existing radon system was present. With no sump pump or crawlspace, this home was vulnerable to radon infiltration, especially with the pending home sale in August.

After:
We installed a two-point extraction system, carefully routing the piping from the living area through to a back room with a large rock, then out through the side of the house. The result is a discreet and future-proof installation ready for a safer, healthier home transition.
