Starting with filling two old drain holes with cement, we ensured a sealed environment before installing a radon pipe behind the basement's pedestrian door. The transformation ensures safety while maintaining the integrity of the home's structure. The gallery also captures the seamless restoration of the floor using the client's provided glue.

Before and after views of our radon mitigation efforts in a Stratford home reveal the effectiveness of our targeted interventions. Starting with a radon level of 6.9, our solution included sealing the sump pump and installing a one-pipe system to the right of the bilco door. This Stratford project demonstrates how radon mitigation can be tailored to homeowner preferences. Initially planned as a two-pipe system with crawl space encapsulation, we adjusted the design to accommodate a simplified one-pipe solution, placed near the oil tank. The before and after photos show how we maintained system effectiveness while respecting the homeowner’s budget and concerns—still protecting against the home’s 9.0 pCi/L radon level.
