Three-Point Radon Mitigation System Installed in Greens Farms
Before
Built in 1920, this home tested at 17.0 pCi/L, significantly above the EPA’s recommended action level of 4.0 pCi/L. The property has two foundation areas: a small basement and a crawl space, with dirt and rock beneath the home. The mitigation design needed to account for both foundation areas when establishing the extraction points.
After
A three-point radon mitigation system was installed using an Eagle Extreme fan. The extraction points and piping were configured to address the home’s foundation layout, with the exterior pipe routed along the right side toward the back of the house. The installation was completed without unusual conditions or changes to the original plan. Follow-up testing can help confirm the system’s effectiveness.
