One-Point Radon Mitigation System Installed in Georgetown
Before
The home had a radon reading of 8.0 pCi/L, above the EPA’s recommended action level of 4.0 pCi/L. With a finished basement and crawl spaces, the system needed to be installed in a practical location without unnecessarily disrupting the existing space.
After
A one-point radon mitigation system was installed with a Festa Hawk fan. The extraction point was located to the right of the workshop bench, following the requested placement. The system is designed to draw radon from beneath the foundation and vent it safely outdoors. Follow-up radon testing is recommended to confirm the system’s performance.
