Radon Mitigation System Replacement Planned for Lakeside Home

Before

The existing radon fan is mounted outside the bedroom and creates unwanted noise inside the home. The current system will need to be removed or disconnected as part of the planned relocation.

After

Install a replacement radon mitigation system near the boiler, with exterior piping routed above the Bilco doors and upward between the windows above the lower metal roof. Reuse existing PVC piping where appropriate, install anti-vibration clamps and a muffler to help reduce noise, and cap off the old exterior pipe.
