This Easton homeowner has lived in the property for over 3 years and recently experienced mold in the basement and detached garage, due in part to a malfunctioning sump pump in the husband's office. During our visit, we identified that: The radon pipe is not connected to the sump pump but is in one of the foundations. The sump pump was previously ineffective, contributing to mold. The client is now focused on dehumidification, air filtration, and sump pump visibility. We discussed installing a Sedona dehumidifier for the basement and detached garage, adding a new clear sump cover with a string check, a 3/4 HP sump pump, UVC light, and a 16x20x2 filter replacement for their current unit.
