In this 1942 Cape-style home in Stamford, radon levels ranged between 4–5 pCi/L, prompting the installation of a two-pipe mitigation system—one in the main foundation and one in the slab.   The system was routed to exit on the left side of the home, positioned near the oil tank and window for optimal ventilation. No sump pump or water guard was present, so the setup was tailored to fit the property’s existing structure.
