Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Norwalk Dual-Pipe System in Dirt Crawl Space
For this Norwalk home, the radon level tested at 5 pCi/L. The house has two cement foundations, including a dirt crawl space that couldn’t be fully encapsulated. We installed a two-pipe radon mitigation system with careful navigation through tight and irregular crawl space conditions.
The client opted to seal the sump area himself, and we planned the system to exit on the left side of the house—with flexibility for the pipe to go through either the laundry room wall or another optimal path. The owner will box out the pipe afterward for a clean finish.
