Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Radon System Installation in a 1971 South Salem Home
For this 1971 concrete-foundation home, the client just moved in and wanted to proactively manage radon despite a low level of 1.5 pCi/L. With three small children, their concern was peace of mind and long-term health.
We installed a one-pipe mitigation system, utilizing an existing electrical outlet two feet beyond the wall for a clean connection. We accessed it by cutting and pulling back the drywall, keeping the finish seamless. The home is currently unoccupied, and the client was easygoing and accommodating throughout.
