Radon Mitigation Photo Album: One-Point Radon Mitigation System Installation in Plymouth
This Plymouth home received a one-point radon mitigation system after testing showed a basement reading of 10 pCi/L. The system uses a Festa Hawk fan to create suction beneath the foundation and help reduce radon entering the home. Exterior piping was routed along the left side of the house behind the chimney. Follow-up testing will help verify the resulting indoor radon level.
Interior Radon Piping
Radon mitigation piping runs through the basement to connect the extraction point beneath the foundation to the exterior venting system.
Basement Before Radon Mitigation
The basement previously tested at 10 pCi/L, and the homeowners wanted to address the elevated radon level so they could make better use of the space.
