Radon Mitigation Photo Album: One-Point Radon Mitigation System Planned for Cornwall Bridge Home

This photo shows the completed interior portion of the one-point radon mitigation system. New piping has been installed from the extraction point and routed toward the rear exterior of the home. The system is designed to draw radon from beneath the foundation and vent it safely outside.

This photo shows the interior foundation area before the one-point radon mitigation system was installed. The raised ranch had an elevated radon reading of 4.1 pCi/L and did not yet have an active mitigation system in place. The foundation layout was reviewed to determine the appropriate location for the extraction point.

This photo shows the completed exterior portion of the one-point radon mitigation system. The new radon piping has been routed out through the rear of the home and positioned along the exterior to provide a clear path for safely venting radon away from the living space.

This photo shows the exterior of the Cornwall Bridge home before the planned radon mitigation system was installed. The rear of the home is being evaluated as the preferred location for routing the new radon piping. The existing dryer vent opening may be used as the pathway for the new system if the location proves suitable.
