Radon Mitigation Photo Album: One-Point Radon Mitigation System Planned for Cornwall Bridge Home
The planned work will add a one-point radon mitigation system to the raised ranch. The system will be designed around the home's apparent continuous foundation from the garage through the living space. Exterior piping will be routed out the rear of the home, with the existing dryer vent opening used if feasible.

This photo shows the completed interior portion of the one-point radon mitigation system. New piping has been installed from the extraction point and routed toward the rear exterior of the home. The system is designed to draw radon from beneath the foundation and vent it safely outside.

This photo shows the interior foundation area before the one-point radon mitigation system was installed. The raised ranch had an elevated radon reading of 4.1 pCi/L and did not yet have an active mitigation system in place. The foundation layout was reviewed to determine the appropriate location for the extraction point.

The rear of the home is being evaluated as the preferred location for routing the new radon piping.
